1. Wash, hull, and quarter the strawberries.

2. In a bowl, whip the cream with the vanilla sugar until stiff peaks form.

3. In each glass, layer strawberries, whipped cream, and crushed meringue.

4. Repeat layers until the glass is full. Serve immediately.
