Ingredients
- 4 piece Egg yolks
- 50 g Sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 500 ml Milk
- 20 g Cornstarch
- 1 piece Lemon
Instructions

Whisk egg yolks, sugar, and salt together in a bowl until the mixture whitens.

Heat milk in a saucepan. Before boiling, pour half of the milk over the egg yolk mixture, whisking constantly.

Pour the mixture back into the saucepan with the remaining milk. Add cornstarch and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the cream thickens and coats the spoon.

Remove from heat and add lemon zest. Let cool before serving.
