Savoyard Soup - French Soup

Ingredients

  • 200 g Sausage
  • 150 g Smoked bacon
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 2 piece Carrot
  • 1 piece Leek
  • 1 piece Turnip
  • 0.25 piece Cabbage
  • 4 piece Potato
  • 1 piece Bouquet garni
  • 0.5 piece Reblochon cheese

Instructions

  1. Dice the bacon and sausage.

  2. Peel and chop the onion, carrots, turnip, and potatoes.

  3. Slice the leek and cabbage.

  4. In a large pot, combine all the vegetables, bacon, and sausage.

  5. Add water to cover the ingredients, then add the bouquet garni.

  6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 40 minutes.

  7. Slice the reblochon cheese and add it to the soup just before serving.

  8. Serve hot.
