Ingredients
- 3 piece Pear (large, peeled and halved)
- 500 ml Apple juice
- 1 piece Vanilla pod (split)
- 150 g Demerara sugar
- 75 g Marzipan (golden)
- 50 g Plain flour
- 25 g Unsalted butter
- 25 g Demerara sugar
- 100 g Granola
Instructions

Combine pears, apple juice, and vanilla pod in a saucepan. Simmer for 20-30 minutes until pears are tender.

Preheat oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas 6. Prepare a roasting dish.

Remove pears from poaching liquid and drain. Reserve poaching liquid.

Place pears in the roasting dish. Fill the center of each pear half with marzipan.

For the crumble, mix flour, butter, and sugar in a bowl. Crumble with your fingertips until it resembles breadcrumbs.

Stir in granola.

Sprinkle crumble mixture over the pears.

Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.

Serve warm with ice cream.
