Pork Souvlaki with Oregano - Greek Main course

Ingredients

  • 400 g Pork shoulder (cut into 3cm cubes)
  • 400 g Pork shoulder (cut into 3cm cubes)
    Alternative: tofu
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 0.5 tsp ground cumin
  • 0.5 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 clove Garlic (grated)
  • 0.5 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Mix lemon juice, olive oil, oregano, cumin, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, grated garlic, and salt in a bowl. Add the pork and marinate for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight in the refrigerator.

  2. Thread the marinated pork cubes onto skewers.

  3. Grill the skewers on a barbecue or under a hot grill for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork is cooked through.
