Minced beef
Alternative: plant-based mince
- 500 g Minced lamb (or use lamb)
- 1 red onion (red onion, finely chopped)
- 30 g Parsley (fresh parsley, finely chopped)
- 3 clove Garlic (garlic, minced)
- 2 tsp Cumin (ground cumin)
- 1 tsp Black pepper (black pepper)
- 1 tsp Salt (salt)
- 4 piece Pita bread (pita bread, halved)
- 60 ml Olive oil (olive oil for brushing)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F) or heat BBQ grill to medium-high.

In a large bowl, combine minced meat, onion, parsley, garlic, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until uniform.

Cut pita breads in half to form pockets. Stuff generously with the meat mixture, pressing to spread evenly.

Brush both sides of stuffed pita with olive oil.

Arrange pita halves on a baking tray or grill. Bake for 12-15 minutes, turning halfway, until meat is cooked through and pita is golden.

Remove from oven/grill. Let cool slightly, then cut into wedges and serve hot with tahini sauce or yogurt dip.
