Ingredients
- 400 g Red tuna (grams)
- 2 tbsp Olive oil (tablespoons)
- 3 tbsp soy sauce (tablespoons)
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil (tablespoon)
- 2 piece Fresh ginger (thin slices)
- 1 piece Lime
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds (tablespoons)
Instructions

Prepare the marinade by mixing olive oil, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger slices and lime juice in a shallow dish.

Coat the tuna steaks with sesame seeds, pressing gently to adhere.

Heat a skillet or frying pan over high heat until smoking hot.

Sear the tuna steaks for about 30 seconds per side, ensuring a quick sear while leaving the center rare.

Remove from heat and immediately slice the tuna against the grain into thin slices.

Serve the tuna tataki immediately, drizzled with the remaining marinade.
