Coconut Candy - Caribbean Dessert

Ingredients

  • 250 g Coconut flakes
  • 125 g Cane sugar
  • 0.5 piece Lime
  • 0.5 tsp Cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 50 ml Water

Instructions

  1. Combine coconut flakes, cane sugar, lime zest, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and water in a saucepan.

  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and begins to crystallize, about 10 minutes.

  3. Pour the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  4. Let cool completely before breaking into pieces and serving.
